摘要: Background It is well known that the plasma concentrations of atrial and brain natriuretic peptides, as cardiac hormones, are elevated in heart failure. Hypothesis Pericardial fluid patients with various diseases contains both peptides released into pericardial fluid. However, it unknown whether these reflect function diseases, more than blood. Methods Plasma samples were obtained from 22 undergoing surgery for measurement peptide (ANP) (BNP) levels fluid. Results The ANP higher impaired left ventricular systolic (ejection fraction < 50% versus ≥ 50%; 77.0 ± 4.9 14.0 50.9, p = 0.017), but not BNP. However, BNP significantly ventricle dilatation (left diastolic dimension ≤ 54 mm > mm; 130.3 68.9: 709.7 324.7, 0.0168). Moreover, Grade III II I (Grade I: echo-free space 10 mm). Conclusion These results suggest served sensitive accurate indicators dysfunction, increased may have an important pathophysiologic role failure a cardiocyte-derived antifibrotic factor.
