A Model for Assessing Learning Management System Success in Higher Education in Sub-Saharan Countries

摘要: In recent years, there has been an increasing adoption of various Learning Management Systems (LMS) in higher education Sub-Saharan countries. Despite the perceived benefits these systems to leverage challenges facing sector region, studies show that majority them tend fail; partially or totally. This paper presents a model for evaluating LMS deployed Higher Education Institutions countries through adopting and extending updated DeLone McLean information system success model. The proposed instrument have validated survey 200 students enrolled courses offered via Moodle at University Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. findings this study will help those who are involved implementation evaluate their existing and/or prepare corrective measures strategies avoid future failures.
