摘要: Background: Idiopathic juxtafoveolar telangiectasis (IJT) is a rare retinal vasculopathy of adulthood that may cause central loss visual acuity. The purpose this paper to evaluate the type and distribution fundus changes in patients with disorder. Methods: Medical records 19 IJT using Gass & Blodi classification were studied. Eight group 1A (42%) 11 2A (58%) analyzed. By projecting color photographs we divided macula into four quadrants studied each one. Results: All presented unilateral disease easily seen telangiectasis, lipid deposits cystic macular edema. mean age was 55.8 years. Five (63%) male 3 (37%) female. 2A, 2 males (18%) 9 females (82%), had bilateral evidenced by fluorescein angiography. 54.5 Fundoscopic findings included: intraretinal pigment plaques, grayish coloring retina, superficial crystalline deposits, right-angle venules, subretinal neovascularization. Conclusions: survey adults. In 1A, men affected times more often than women, main quadrant inferior temporal, followed nasal. women 4 all eyes superior temporal involvement.
