摘要: The current research investigated the factor structure, measurement invariance, internal consistency reliability, convergent and incremental validity, test-retest reliability of Chinese version Encouragement Character Strength Scale (ECSS). bifactor exploratory structural equation modeling (bifactor-ESEM) resulted in best-fit indices unbiased parameter estimates with joint presence general encouragement character strength two specific factors (i.e., perceived ability enjoyment). total scores ECSS showed good all samples. Measurement invariance across gender was confirmed. In support their strong associations measures kindness, hope, social connectedness, extroversion, agreeableness, psychological well-being. After controlling variables validity for Test-retest established ECSS. Overall, seems to be an effective dependable scale measuring construct.
