摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the morphologic appearance, clinical scenario, and outcomes patients with portal hypertensive biliopathy (PHB), particularly in symptomatic subgroup treated interventional radiology (IR) procedures. outcome 20 PHB were retrospectively reviewed over a 5-year period. In all cases, extrahepatic vein occlusion (EHPVO) compensatory cavernomatosis cause PHB. Eight out had severe symptoms (jaundice bleeding). Five these eight successfully IR is rare but serious complication PH from EHPVO. treatments are highly effective controlling symptoms. Moreover, procedures, as drainage transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt placement, first-line treatment cases life-threatening bleeding ruptures varices.
