摘要: Introduction Parkinsonism occurs in all ethnic groups worldwide; however, there are wide variations the prevalence rates reported from different countries, even for neighboring regions. The huge socioeconomic burden of parkinsonism necessitates need studies each country. So far, is neither data registry nor information on Iranian population. aim our study was to estimate rate probable a urban area Iran, Tehran using community-based door-to-door survey. Materials and methods We used random multistage sampling households within network health centers consisting 374 subunits 22 districts throughout entire Tehran. Overall, 20,621 individuals answered baseline checklist screening questionnaire 19,500 persons aged ≥30 years were entered final analysis.
