摘要: Abstract Objective Mutations of the tumor suppressor gene TP 53 are most significant events in several human cancers. Few studies have analyzed frequency alterations squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma cervix with controversial results. This study provides a detailed analysis TP53 mutation spectra cervical from different geographical regions. Methods The mutational profiles was performed 1353 cancers retrieved IARC p53 database (R15, 2010) COSMIC data along literature review related identified by PubMed searching. Results showed higher (32 241; 13.3%) compared to (39 657; 5.9%; P =0.0003, χ 2 test). proportion mutated varied 4% North America 19% Asia. Among six hot-spot codons gene, three (175, 248 273) were commonly both types cancer, one codon (249) mainly (282) only adenocarcinoma. G A C T transitions prevalent type mutations (48.7% 53.5% all mutations, respectively). transversion relatively high (25%), while mirror comparatively frequent (14.6%). Conclusions Different patterns occur regions world. highest has been observed Further needed better define role cancer possibly understand impact on prognosis outcomes.
