摘要: Background It is known that steroid usage and alcohol abuse are major etiological factors in the development of avascular necrosis (AVN), a bone disease produces osteonecrosis femoral head. The facilitation fat biosynthesis by steroids disrupts blood supply into SREBP-2 plays central role maintenance lipid homeostasis through stimulating expression genes associated with cholesterol biosynthetic pathways. aim this study was to examine association between polymorphisms gene AVN susceptibility Korean population.
