摘要: Rye grass was fed to sheep and the fatty acid composition of rye lipids faecal determined. The outstanding features were (a) occurrence 10.7 % branched-chain iso anteiso acids ranging from C13 C31 (inclusive) in faeces but only 0.1% these constituents (17:0 anteiso) grass; (b) presence 23.9% components above C18, which 22.2% n-saturated 0.5% branched, 7.2% higher molecular weight grass. n-Fatty C12 C34 (predominantly C14-C18) occurred both diet faeces. Whereas mainly unsaturated (74.6%) included 56.5% linolenic acid, contained a preponderance saturated (80.2%) 1.2% acid. C18 dietary identified as follows: C19 even-numbered) faeces; C27 n-unsaturated (c) (except C33) (d) acids, absent acids. odd-numbered (C13 C31) even-numbered (C14 C30) faeces, suggested that branched microbial origin digestive tract sheep.
