Acetylcholine induced endothelial-dependent vasodilation increases as artery diameter decreases in the rabbit ear

摘要: Isolated resistance vessels in the rabbit ear preconstricted with histamine were relaxed by acetylcholine a proportionately greater amount than central artery. The relaxation was antagonized atropine and also endothelium removal. Our studies represent first direct evidence that endothelium-dependent dilation can occur vessels.
