摘要: The bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) is the most common congenital cardiac anomaly and present in 2–3 % of general population. While BAV anatomy may not intrinsically hamper valvular function, it associated with a spectrum secondary valvulopathy aortopathy such as calcific disease dilation. current clinical management presents significant challenges related to nontrivial identification patients, difficult detection onset complications time-sensitivity surgical intervention. design effective guidelines procedures requires elucidation etiology complications, which remains controversial.
