摘要: Objective To identify psychological profiles in persons with knee osteoarthritis (OA) and to determine the relationship between these specific pain sensory characteristics, including temporal summation conditioned modulation. Methods Individuals OA (n = 194) completed psychological, health, assessments. Hierarchical cluster analysis was used derive that were compared across several clinical pain/disability experimental responses. Results Cluster 1 had high optimism low negative affect, vigilance, anger, depression, along lowest self-reported sensitivity mechanical, pressure, thermal (P < 0.01 for all). Cluster 2 positive affect somatic reactivity, while 3 showed vigilance optimism. Clusters intermediate levels of experienced central sensitization mechanical stimuli. Participants also displayed significant facilitation 0.05). 4 exhibited highest depression. These individuals pain/disability, widespread 0.001 most sensitive stimuli, stimuli all). Conclusion Our findings demonstrate existence homogeneous displaying unique sets somatosensory characteristics. Multidisciplinary treatment approaches consistent biopsychosocial model should provide advantages if targeted such as those our sample.
