Risk Factors for Acute Psychiatric Readmission

摘要: A retrospective case note study explored readmissions to an acute psychiatric in-patient unit within six months of discharge. The aimed calculate a hospital readmission rate, investigate the timing readmissions, and identify risk factors associated with readmission. rate was 27% majority occurring three after discharge, suggesting need for investigation such early readmissions. found predict were: discharge against medical advice, number previous admissions, living alone or family rather than in care.
