摘要: To further characterize phocid herpesvirus type 1 (PhHV-1) at the molecular level, a cluster of genes comprising complete unique short (Us) region PhHV-1 has been cloned and sequenced. Within this region, ORFs were detected that code for equivalent Us 2− protein herpes simplex virus (HSV), putative kinase, glycoprotein equivalents gG, gD, gI gE. In addition, two small downstream gE, homologous to 8·5 9 proteins HSV identified. Comparative analysis ORF encoding gD identified corresponding alphaherpesviruses canine and, lesser degree, feline as closest relatives.
