摘要: The functioning and development of the extractive industry depends on many unusual conditions that are not found in other industries, such as size deposits, level natural technical hazards, geographic location, or method mineral extraction (open pit underground). Therefore, it is difficult to use universal assessment methods for specific production units. As a result, research undertaken this article aims develop an indicator evaluating potential underground hard coal mines. This based theoretical practical analysis mines, expert research, multiple case studies verifying operation presented indicator. first part devoted identifying analyzing criteria assessing Next, essence methodology creating interpreting proposed was presented. second empirical, contains results carried out using developed indicators five Polish mines years 2011–2015. indicate most important factors relate geological mining conditions, those concerning hazard levels. However, during functioning, financial related which ultimately determine survival plants, gain significance.
