摘要: The Solow Residual has a direct interpretation as measure of technical change under perfect competition and constant returns to scale. When these conditions do not hold, the residual be appropriately adjusted in order considered correct change. We argue that extractive industries is also affected by continuous depletion non-renewable resource. Therefore, we provide new decomposition for which level reserves likely affect extraction costs. Our empirical results illustrate role played measurement productivity coal mining Spain.
