摘要: Individuals can increase inclusive fitness benefits through a complex network of social interactions directed towards kin. Preferential relationships with relatives lead to the emergence kin structures in system. Cohesive groups related individuals and female philopatry wild boar create conditions for cooperation selection make species good biological model studying structures. Yet, role kinship shaping structure populations is still poorly understood. In present study, we investigated spatio-temporal patterns associations Sus scrofa population Bialowieza National Park, Poland, which offered unique opportunity understand away from anthropogenic factors. We used combination telemetry data genetic information examine impact on cohesion strength bonds. Relatedness spatial proximity between were positively bond. Consequently, was spatially genetically structured well-defined cohesive units. However, could not entirely explain association structure. Genuine, kin-targeted, temporarily stable females extended beyond while males short-lived shaped by relatedness. The findings this study confirm matrilineal nature show how preferences translate into an emergent socio-genetic
