摘要: Abstract Background This study was designed to compare the accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with double contrast–enhanced (DCUS) in staging gastric malignancies. DCUS is a transabdominal technique using both intravenous and intraluminal contrast enhance sonographic visualization. Methods retrospective included 162 patients biopsy-proven cancer who underwent EUS preoperatively results compared pathologic findings resected specimens. Results The overall for tumor (T) 77.2% 74.7%, respectively . Comparison techniques T revealed that superior only depth T3 (chi-square, P = .025). Lymph nodes were staged correctly 78.4% 57.4% cases, .001). Conclusions offers noninvasive approach cancer. comparable evaluation but offered an advantage lymph node detection.
