摘要: OBJECTIVES: Unsafe household conditions could adversely affect safety and quality in home health care. However, risk identification tools procedures that can be readily implemented this setting are lacking. To address need, we developed tested a new checklist accompanying training program. METHODS: A 50-item, photo-illustrated, multi-hazard was designed as tool to enable healthcare paraprofessionals (HHCPs) conduct visual inspections patients' homes. The focused on hazards presenting the greatest threat of seniors. convenience sample 57 HHCPs recruited participate 1-hour program, followed by pilot testing their households.
