摘要: The evolutionary success of the equine gammaherpesviruses (GHVs) is demonstrated by their consistent and widespread presence in horse populations worldwide. Equine GHVs establish infection young foals can be continually detected over lifetime host either recrudescence latent infections or re-infection. A definitive diagnosis clinical disease horses due to GHV remains challenging given ubiquitous nature without signs, as well with signs ranging from mild respiratory severe multinodular pulmonary fibrosis. This review aims examine what known about explore balance relationship that has evolved millions years between these viruses host.
