摘要: This study was conducted to evaluate the relevance of soluble form c-Met protein, a truncated membrane receptor involved in CagA pathway, as potential biomarker for gastric cancer. Among 290 cancer case-control sets selected from Korean Multicenter Cancer Cohort, plasma concentrations protein were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. Using analysis variance and covariance models age, sex, smoking, Helicobacter pylori infection, seropositivity, mean between cases controls compared. To association level, odds ratios 95% confidence intervals estimated using conditional logistic regression models. Interactions CagA-related genes concentration also investigated. The overall median among significantly lower than those (1.390 vs. 1.610 ng/mL, p < 0.0001). Closer onset cancer, level decreased linearly time-dependent manner (p trend = 0.0002). combined effects intensified risks Restricted analyses including that had been diagnosed within 1 year after entering cohort fair degree ability (area under receiver operating characteristic curve 0.73-0.77) discriminate normal controls. Our findings demonstrate novel beneficial high human are strongly supported.
