摘要: Since the pathogenesis of fibromyalgia is unknown, treatment options are limited, ineffective and in fact based on symptom relief. A recently proposed rat model central depletion monamines caused by reserpine administration. This showed widespread musculoskeletal pain depressive-like symptoms, but methodology used to measure such symptoms has been criticized. Evidence relates high prevalence depression common pathogenic pathways, most probably focused monoaminergic system. The present study aims at a validation fibromyalgia. For this purpose, rats undergoing have tested for with Novelty-Suppressed Feeding Test adaptation. Animals administered subjected forced food deprivation performed smaller number incursions center open field, evidenced decrease per-minute rate rats' approaching, smelling or touching food. They also took more time eat from than control rats. These NSFT findings suggest presence disorders animal
