摘要: Abstract 1. Alginate lyases from a marine bacterium, Pseudomonas sp., were partially purified the culture medium and bacterial cells. 2. The extracellular enzyme (mol. wt 32,000) was mostly specific for polyguluronan intracellular 94,000) more preferential polymannuronan than polyguluronan. 3. These enzymes showed optimal pH at around 7.5 high stability over range of 6.5–8.5. 4. Both these endo-type alginate lyases, as judged change inviscosity solution analyses digestion products each homopolymer on gel filtration. 5. Eminent in circular dichroic spectrum observed with enzyme.
