摘要: The formation of a scar after glaucoma surgery often leads to unsuccessful control intraocular pressure, and should be prevented by using variety methods. We designed developed novel drug delivery system (DDS) comprising cyclosporine A (CsA) poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) based on drainage device (GDD) that can continuously release CsA prevent postoperative fibrosis following surgery. CsA@PLGA@GDD DDS was observed field emission scanning electron microscopy revealed an asymmetric pore structure. Thermogravimetric analysis performed measure the weight loss evaluate thermal stability DDS. in vitro profile studied high performance liquid chromatography, which confirmed released at stable rate maintained adequate concentrations for relatively long time. biocompatibility inhibitory effects were investigated rabbit Tenon's fibroblasts. vivo safety efficacy examined implanting into capsules New Zealand rabbits. Bleb morphology, anterior chamber reactions, angiography series set times. kept filtration pathway unblocked longer time compared with GDD. results indicate represents safe effective strategy preventing
