摘要: A continuous chicken erythroblast cell line transformed by the temperature-sensitive mutant ts34 of avian erythroblastosis virus was developed. This line, designated HD3, could be induced to terminally differentiate shift nonpermissive temperature. The differentiated cells resembled erythrocytes as judged morphology, expression hemoglobin determined benzidine staining and radioimmunoassay, differentiation-specific surface antigens. Terminal differentiation dependent on an erythropoietin-like activity present in anemic serum. In contrast, induction same butyric acid erythropoietin independent did not lead formation erythrocytes. addition, we found that responsiveness temperature inducibility dissociated variant sublines HD3 both types inducers appear act via different pathways.
