摘要: A new generation hollow-fibre membrane oxygenator (Spiral Gold™) has been introduced by Baxter Healthcare (Irvine, CA, USA). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the operational performance device under clinical conditions and compare it Univox® Gold™ oxygenator.Following institutional review board approval, obtainment informed consent, 26 patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting were randomly assigned either a Spiral (Spiral) (n = 13) or (Univox) group. Study parameters grouped into following categories: haematological, haemodynamic, perioperative outcomes. All received identical surgical, anaesthesia postoperative care.There no statistically significant differences in preoperative operative between groups.
