摘要: Several public/private institutions, at international and national levels, consider green roofs effective energy efficiency measures. A large feasibility study of their technical economical profitability is proposed here. The main heat transfer phenomena a brief literature state the art are presented. Congruent with cost-optimal approach, economic indicators described, as well physical set equations for evaluating performances roofs. Moreover, case studies shown by describing various climates considered, water costs, power systems, emissions factors, all parameters necessary suitable studies. Various building technologies taken into account, common typologies extensive results show relative roofs, when watering costs limited, if buildings not properly insulated, so that installation greenery, combined added thermal insulation, provides savings both heating cooling. final section proposes some considerations improving adopting rainwater harvesting systems.
