摘要: This paper introduces a special section devoted to participation and evaluation for sustainable river basin governance. The departing point this research was the recognition that although there is relative agreement regarding need develop new multi-dimensional, inclusive plural approaches water resource management, still deficiency of related methodologies tools. acknowledgement has motivated undertaking ADVISOR — Integrated Evaluation Sustainable River Basin Governance project, which aimed at improving understanding processes, as part planning test use specific tools support conduct participatory processes. starts with discussion concept integrated resources management an illustration policies have been adopted in different countries response these trends. conceptual framework developed then presented, well main results from ex-post analysis decision processes five projects European countries. concluded that, most situations, decision-making fell short including interests, perceptions values affected parties. remaining articles form section, mostly testing platforms deliberation.
