The European Public Sphere: Myth, Reality or Aspiration?

摘要: The discussion about the public sphere only began to have significant relevance within setting of European Union in middle 1990s when a growing degree attention was directed towards integration and role national transnational media providing thrust for it. Since then, notion has been seen as central feature democracies, shaping coherence political systems decision-making processes. There also tendency literature perceive (EPS) having positive effects on EU by endowing it with legitimacy space where its institutions leaders can be made more transparent accountable. What is disputed throughout this scholarship possibility creating an overarching that would act discursive uniting various communication fluxes actors from all strata society.
