摘要: The unfolded protein response (UPR) is involved in quality control and activated to several stressors. Although testis the UPR mechanisms are well described, their presence spermatozoa contentious. We aimed investigate of UPR-related proteins human sperm impact oxidative stress induction activation. To identify sperm, a bioinformatic approach was adopted. explore activation UPR, were exposed hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) motility, vitality, levels assessed. identified 97 showed, for first time, HSF1, GADD34, phosphorylated eIF2α. Additionally, exposure H2O2 resulted significant decrease viability motility an increase HSP90, HSP60, HSP27, eIF2α; all sensing proteins. This study gave us insight into male gamete. However, belief that devoid transcription translation highlight need clarify if these pathways same way as somatic cells.
