摘要: AIM: To assess the sICAM-1, sVCAM-1, and sP-selectin levels in children with Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) infection to evaluate their significance for morphological changes found gastric mucosa. METHODS: The study included 106 children: 59 (55.7%) chronic gastritis positive IgG against H pylori, 29 (27.3%) after previous without bacterium colonization but 18 (17%) functional disorders of gastrointestinal system normal pylori. Endoscopic histopathological evaluation mucosa was performed based on Sydney System classification. sP-selectin, sVCAM-1 sera carried out using ELISA test. RESULTS: assessment activity degrees indicated statistically significant values antrum corpus (P<0.001) examined. Serum were higher group due than differed (P<0.05). proved be highest among other adhesive molecules infected decreased eradication sICAM-1 similar all examined groups. infection. CONCLUSION: Assessment (sP-selectin, sVCAM-1) active can show participation pathogenesis mucosal inflammation. concentrations cannot reveal any differences as compared healthy children.
