摘要: Protein kinase CK2 is a pleitropic Ser/Thr present in all eukaryotes. In order to study the effects of depletion on plant development, we have recently generated Arabidopsis transgenic plants expressing CK2α-inactive mutant under control an inducible promoter. Our results showed that continuous expression transgene had dominant negative effect and was lethal for plants. Overexpression subunit provoked cell cycle arrest, by perturbation both G1/S G2 cell-cycle phases. The division were particularly strong root meristems, causing inhibition lateral formation even when protein transiently induced. Processes rely expansion, such as hypocotyl elongation dark-grown seedlings, also strongly affected. We propose regulates auxin-signaling pathways.
