摘要: Hereditary gastric cancer syndromes are a rare but distinct cause of cancers. The genetic mutations underlying most affected families unknown. Mutations CDH1 occur in some patients by hereditary diffuse cancer, and is the only practical marker for guiding management. Carriers at risk highly penetrant, aggressive early-onset diffuse-type these individuals usually offered prophylactic total gastrectomy. Further research required to identify other responsible improve our understanding disease mechanisms optimize clinical management individuals.
