摘要: Heart failure is common in older people and its prevalence increasing. The 'omics' AGEing (HOMAGE) project aims to provide a biomarker approach that will improve the early diagnosis of heart failure. A large clinical database, based on (1) prospective population studies or (2) cross-sectional, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) patients at risk for with overt cardiovascular disease be constructed determine most promising 'omics'-based biomarkers identify developing and/or comorbidities. Population studies, patient cohorts RCTs are eligible inclusion if they received ethical approval obtain share data have baseline information factors. Currently, HOMAGE database includes 43,065 subjects, from 20 eight European countries, including healthy subjects three France, Belgium Italy (n  =  7,124), 4,312) four UK, Spain Switzerland high 31,629) 13 cohorts. It anticipated more partners join consortium enlarge pooled data. This merged useful resource which candidate play role mechanism underlying onset progression
