摘要: BACKGROUND: The preclinical stage of systolic heart failure (HF), known as asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction (ALVD), is diagnosed only by echocardiography, frequent in the general population and leads to a high risk developing severe HF. Large scale screening for ALVD difficult task represents major unmet clinical challenge that requires determination biomarkers. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS: 294 individuals were screened echocardiography. We identified 9 cases out 128 subjects with cardiovascular factors. White blood cell gene expression profiling was performed using pangenomic microarrays. Data analyzed principal component analysis (PCA) Significant Analysis Microarrays (SAM). To build an classifier model, we used nearest centroid classification method (NCCM) ClaNC software package. Classification performance determined leave-one-out cross-validation method. Blood transcriptome provided specific molecular signature which defined model based on 7 genes capable discriminating cases. patients validation group demonstrated these are accurate diagnostic predictors 87% accuracy 100% precision. Furthermore, Receiver Operating Characteristic curves levels confirmed 6 discriminate classification. CONCLUSIONS/SIGNIFICANCE: These targets could serve enhance ability efficiently detect care practitioners facilitate preemptive initiation medical treatment preventing development
