摘要: Cholinergic activation of hippocampal targets can initiate and sustain network oscillations in vivo vitro, yet the impact cholinergic modulation on oscillatory properties interneurones remains virtually unexplored. Using whole cell current clamp recordings acute slices, we investigated influence muscarinic receptor (mAChR) CA1 stratum oriens (SO) vitro. In response to suprathreshold input, mAChR increased spike reliability precision, extended bandwidth that interneurone firing phase-locked. These effects were largest at theta frequencies, indicating tunes active conductances enhance precision frequency input. Muscarinic tuning intrinsic is a novel mechanism may be crucial for genesis rhythm.
