摘要: Mortality rates of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) have improved over the past 20 years; however, a significant portion deaths stems from lack prognostic biomarkers, which can direct therapy and overcome drug resistance. microRNA-155a (miRNA-155a) miRNA-181a are two single-stranded miRNAs involved in pathogenesis many types lymphoma is linked to We investigated their expression levels 55 patients, 45 diagnosed with ALL 10 as control group. found that miRNA-155a were significantly upregulated group both being high minimal residual disease poor prognosis. cutoff value was discriminating between high- low-risk patients well healthy controls, value, not significant. Both markers downregulated after therapy. conclude miR-155 correlated prognosis ALL, whereas we couldn't link ALL. Moreover, marked decrease could reflect impact on outcome.
