摘要: The genome of malignant rabbit virus (MRV), a newly discovered tumorigenic poxvirus rabbits, has been analyzed using cloned DNA probes from Shope fibroma (SFV) and myxoma virus. Under high stringency conditions for Southern blotting such that SFV do not cross-hybridize with DNA, it is demonstrated greater than 90% the MRV derived virus, approximately 10 kb SFV-derived sequences have substituted similar amount sequences. Mapping indicates are present in two regions genome, one each copy terminal inverted repeat sequence. Furthermore, fine mapping studies integration sites into background show these symmetrical respect to left right genomic termini. At end, 4 maps between 6 terminus, while at end about 5.5 found extend least 1 further toward unique internal Based on this asymmetrical bipartite distribution MRV, two-stage model rationalize origin proposed. This postulates an initial recombination event gene conversion terminus myxoma, followed by incomplete transposition only part terminus.
