摘要: In the past decade alone, portion of US population aged 65 and over has grown to 40 million people, representing a 15.1 % increase from 2000 2010, comprising 13 total population. contrast, portions under age 18 18–45 increased by only 2.6 0.6 %, respectively. Given that half all surgical procedures are performed in patients years or older, healthcare providers involved perioperative treatment must be familiar with issues concerns particular geriatric patients. Patients undergoing urologic tend older have an array complex comorbidities. This chapter will review key preoperative evaluation adults procedures.
