摘要: Aneuploidy is a characteristic of the majority human cancers, and recent work has suggested that mitotic checkpoint defects play role in its development. To further explore this issue, we isolated novel gene, MAD2B (MAD2L2), which homologous to spindle gene MAD2 (MAD2L1). We determined chromosomal localization it other genes, including MAD1L1, MAD2, BUB3, TTK (MPS1L1), CDC20. In addition, resolved genomic intron-exon structure BUB1 gene. then searched for mutations these genes panel 19 aneuploid colorectal tumors. No new were identified, suggesting yet be discovered are responsible most observed cancers.
