摘要: Fas and Fas-L regulate immune responses through the induction of cell death. is commonly expressed in activated cells endothelium. In latter it contributes to inhibition transvascular migration by apoptosis Fas-bearing lymphocytes. Here we investigated whether Fas/Fas-L system may lymphocyte invasion into angiosarcomas. expression was quantitatively determined different grade angiosarcomas (n = 40) related number extravasated tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs). detected 70% cases relative numbers Fas-L-positive correlated inversely with CD3- CD8-positive TILs (P ≤ 0.004). The survival times patients high Fas-L-expressing were significantly reduced as compared low tumors. Our results show that are characterized numerous TILs, whereas sarcomas TILs. These suggest repress TIL angiosarcoma this contribute evasion anti-tumor surveillance course an apoptotic tumor counterattack mechanism.
