摘要: Muscle, liver, and kidney tissues from 100 polar bears (Ursus maritimus) caught in the Avanersuaq area, north-west Greenland, Ittoqqortoormiit central-east were analysed for zinc, cadmium, mercury selenium. The zinc concentrations muscle liver higher than kidney. Mean ranged 19.7 to 76.0 μg/g (all data are presented as geometric means on a wet wt. basis). cadmium by area age groups all low many cases below detection limit (range: <0.015–0.048 μg/g). Cadmium intermediate 0.120–1.98 μg/g) highest tissue 2.16–28.9 Mercury was likewise lowest 0.034–0.191 concentration quite similarly (liver range: 2.13–22.0 μg/g; 2.87–32.0 selenium increased (range:<0.2–0.452 over 1.20–9.80 2.34–13.9 No accumulation found zinc. A weak increase selenium, whereas clearly accumulated with age. An exception tissue, where no clear pattern observed. Polar had significantly lower ringed seals same three tissues. Likewise of seals, higher. Biomagnification factors provided different groups. Tissue ratios given metals enable rough extrapolation one another. vary up factor 6 significant differences could be detected between elements two management zones Greenland. This finding is agreement genetic areas. In however, some southern northern indicating that east Greenland represents ecological regions bear populations. Geographical only geographical trend increasing west east, which has been previously Canada, extended cover well. East this region decrease found. showed an Svalbard peaking SW Melville Island. marked Island, Chukchi Sea.
