摘要: Abstract Purpose In patients with schizophrenia, premorbid psychosocial adjustment is an important predictor of functional outcome. We studied outcome in young clinical high-risk (CHR) and how this was predicted by their childhood to adolescence adjustment. Methods all, 245 help-seeking CHR were assessed the Premorbid Adjustment Scale, Structured Interview for Prodromal Syndromes (SIPS) Schizophrenia Proneness Instrument (SPI-A). The SIPS assesses positive, negative, disorganised, general symptoms, Global Assessment Functioning (GAF), SPI-A self-experienced basic symptoms; they carried out at baseline, 9-month 18-month follow-up. Transitions psychosis identified. hierarchical linear model, associations between adjustment, background data, transitions GAF scores analysed. Results During follow-up, improved significantly, proportion poor functioning decreased from 74% 37%. Poor single marital status, work symptoms associated low baseline scores.
