摘要: The influence of the chain composition on physical–chemical properties will be discussed for five transfection lipids containing same lysine-based head group. For this purpose, gradually varied from saturated tetradecyl (C14:0) and hexadecyl (C16:0) chains to longer but unsaturated oleyl (C18:1) with double bonds in cis configuration. In work, we investigated as Langmuir monolayers at air–water-interface absence presence calf thymus DNA applying different techniques such infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRRAS) grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXD). replacement by increases fluidity lipid monolayer: TH10 < TT10 OH10 OT10 OO10 resulting a smaller packing density. forms stiffest most fluid monolayer structure–property study. has higher protonation degree compared well hybrids because better accessibility amine groups. Depending bulk pH, scenarios coupling have been proposed.
