摘要: Aim: The objective of this study was to utilize commonly applied tools, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale – subscale (HADS-D) Center for Epidemiological Studies (CES-D), screen depressive symptoms in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Furthermore, we sought identify whether differences existed prevalence as assessed by CES-D HADS-D, predictors symptoms. Methods: presence 80 outpatients 51 inpatients COPD using HADS-D. Data regarding sex, educational level, body mass index, smoking index function were obtained evaluate their independent contribution symptoms. Results: 29.8% based on 40.5% A MacNemar test severity analysis results HADS-D revealed significant differences. Logistic regression suggested that ‘severity’ is a predictor CES-D, whereas ‘body index’, ‘education level’ ‘setting’ HADS-D. Conclusions: differed when reasons behind difference include fact frequently detected mild well tendency be strongly influenced education levels. In contrast, reflected CES-D. It possible differs accordance screening tool.
