摘要: Abstract Purpose We sought to estimate the incidence rates and disease trends for basal cell carcinoma (BCC) of maxillofacial region in civilian population north Jordan. Methods A retrospective study was undertaken all BCCs diagnosed at Regional Histopathology Department during period 1991 2000. Results The age-adjusted rate BCC 1992 6.3:100,000, 2000, it 8.8:100,000. However, several were observed period. Age- gender-specific apparently increased Lesions most commonly seen on nose, facial skin, periorbital skin. proportions various anatomic sites that reviewed remained fairly constant over 10-year Conclusions In comparison with populations from other geographic areas, Jordan is low.
