摘要: Hairy cells (HCs) and some activated B express high levels of macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) (CSF-1) receptor, but the functional effects cytokine on have not been previously identified. Using video microscopy, image analysis, migration assays, M-CSF was shown to induce chemokinetic chemotactic movement HCs. This response involved transition a highly mobile, rounded cell form accompanied by distinctive changes in F-actin polymerization distribution. Furthermore, M-CSF-induced motility substantially modified adhesive protein used as substratum qualitative function alpha v beta 3 integrin It is suggested that findings are relevant pathophysiology hairy-cell leukemia (HCL) particular, biology B-cell general.
