摘要: Abstract Three crude bentonites samples from USA (W), Tunisia (H) and Algeria (MR) have been used in order to prepare Cu-exchanged new mixed AlCu pillared clays by three methods (i) a classical ‘dilute suspension solution’ method adding the nitrate pillaring solution 2% clay suspension, (ii) ‘powder where powder is dispersed (iii) ‘concentrated slurry’ which dialysis bag containing clay-water slurry (33% w/w) placed solution. These are called D, P CS respectively. Pillaring reactions was performed at 40°C with OH/(Al + Cu) molar ratio ( R ) equal 2 Cu/(Al of 0, 5 10%, Chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction, N BET surface area cation exchange capacity measurements were carried out characterize materials. The results show that after calcination 300°C, lead d 001 peak about 1.8 urn subsists one year ageing, remains 1.6 nm even 800°C for some samples. Catalytic tests oxidation reaction phenol H O diluted aqueous room temperature an interesting activity Cu-clays.
