摘要: This paper reports for the first time simultaneous production of H2 and H2CO via partial oxidation methanol over an electrochemically promoted Pt catalyst film. The effect film preparation technique (pulse cathodic arc vs. impregnation), reaction conditions (temperature O2/CH3OH ratio), durability system long working times have been investigated a Pt/K-βAl2O3 electrochemical catalyst. It is shown that cationic solid electrolyte system, excess electrocatalytic activity catalyst-electrode could be detrimental electro-promotional due to ability porous (e.g., impregnated film) form store surface compounds. However, catalytic selectivity more dense prepared by technique) strongly enhanced promotion. Under optimal potential (a potassium promoter coverage 0.1), rates were increased factor 6 4, respectively. performance was stable under polarization, which may significant importance since it allows produce both products at mild in single step.
