摘要: Effects of suckling length (45, 75 and 120 days) birth type (single twin) on lamb growth, slaughtering carcass quality characteristics were investigated using 40 Kivircik lambs. SC-45 SC-75 lambs weaned at 45 75 days age, respectively, whilst SC-120 remained with their mothers until the end experimental period. Lambs from all studied groups slaughtered 120 days age. Weaning treatment caused a decrease in average daily gain lambs, therefore, final weight was higher than groups. had empty body weight, cold dressing percentage, measurements, fatness (proportions kidney knob channel fat, subcutaneous intramuscular fat pelvic limb) non-carcass (omental mesenteric proportion) As conclusion, potential losses meat production due to weaning should be considered before deciding early ages.
